This document is a summary of important information about the insurance product and does not take into account your specific requirements and needs. Full terms can be found in the insurance policy, which you should read carefully to ensure you have the coverage you need. What kind of insurance is it?
A zero deductible applies.
What does it cover?
✓emergency medical expenses- Actual cost of hospitalization, repatriation, additional travel and accommodation expenses. Up to DKK 7,500 for summons and escort expenses, up to DKK 15,000 for funeral expenses, and up to DKK 1,500 for dentist expenses for pain relief if you get sick or injured while traveling.
✓Travel guarantee and reduction of your trip- Up to DKK 30,000 for the loss of prepaid travel and accommodation expenses if you cancel your trip. If you are or may be hospitalized
If you leave your place of residence on medical advice during the trip, you will receive a daily allowance (DKK 150). Up to DKK 1,125 for prepaid excursions that you cannot use due to illness or injury.
✓Personal money and valuable documents-bis
DKK 3,000 in cash, access and travel cards in case of loss or theft during the trip. An allowance of DKK 200 per person.
✓lost passport- Up to DKK 2,500 to cover the cost of obtaining temporary travel documents and refund of the balance if the passport is lost.
✓I lost the game- Up to DKK 30,000 for additional transportation or accommodation costs to continue your trip if you miss your outbound or return trip.

✓personal responsibility- Up to DKK 3,000,000 in expenses for damages caused to third parties or their property (including whereabouts on your trip if it is not your property, family member or friend). An allowance of 1,000 DKK per person.
✓court costs- You have to pay up to DKK 100,000 in court fees to have a lawyer handle a court case if you are sued and the charges against you do not fall under the criminal laws of the country in question. An allowance of 1,000 DKK per person.
✓Damage to the rented vehicle- Up to DKK 10,000 per booking with Stena for the excess charged by your rental company if your rental car is damaged or stolen during the rental period.
Optional travel assistance coverage- Up to DKK 1,500 per request for towing service or on-site repair and up to DKK 550 per night (up to 2 nights) for additional stays.
What does it not cover?

Are there any restrictions on coverage?
!Only Danish residents are insured.
!Claims related to existing medical conditions
may be exempt if diagnosed or unstable in the 2 months prior to policy payment.
!Return tickets do not cover a booked trip of more than 45 days or the period purchased (whichever is shorter).
!In the case of single tickets, a trip booked for more than 14 days is only insured for the first 14 days.
!Rentals booked for more than 31 days are not covered.
!General exclusions apply to the entire policy and each section contains exclusions specific to that section. For example, claims caused by: war, terrorism, epidemics, pandemics, your criminal or fraudulent activities, alcohol or drug use, cyber risk.
This is travel insurance that covers you for various events during your trip such as: Covered events are described in the text of the policy.
Where am I insured?
✓Europe (country mentioned in the policy glossary)
You are not covered if you book travel to a country or region where the Department of State, the World Health Organization (WHO), or any government or other official authority has advised against all travel or travel that is not strictly necessary. Assistance cannot be provided in war zones or countries listed by the insurer as exempt.
What are my obligations?
To avoid having your policy canceled and claims reduced or denied, you must:

When the insurance is in force
- The Insured must notify the Insurer as soon as possible of any change that may affect the coverage.

When and how do I pay?
You must pay your full insurance premium for coverage to apply. All coverage is void if payment is not made in full or if
rejected or the insurance is terminated.
The premium can be paid using one of the payment methods made available by the insurer.
When does coverage end?
The start and end dates of your insured trip will appear on your insurance receipt email.
For return tickets:Insurance coverage for all routes begins at the beginning of the trip and ends at the end of the trip. Unless you are unable to complete your trip as planned due to death, injury or illness, or your reserved transportation is unavoidably delayed, all coverage will expire on the cancellation date specified in your insurance receipt email. In these circumstances, we will extend coverage free of charge until you can reasonably complete your trip.
For a single ticket:Coverage for all Episodes begins at the start of your trip and ends at the end of your trip or 14 days later, whichever comes first. All coverage begins on the start date shown on your proof of insurance and ends on the expiration date shown on your proof of insurance, unless you are unable to complete your trip as planned due to death, injury or illness, or if your booked transport is delayed and this cannot be avoided. In these circumstances, we will extend coverage free of charge until you can reasonably complete your trip.
How can I cancel the contract?
If your coverage does not meet your requirements, please notify Stena Line (x00 00 000 000 orxxxxxxxxx.xx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx) within 14 days of paying your premium and receiving the insurance receipt email.
Your premium will be refunded unless your coverage has expired, you have filed a claim, or you intend to file a claim. In this case there will be no refund.
Please note that your right of withdrawal expires after this 14-day period.
With an insurance period of 1 month or less, you can only cancel the insurance the day before the trip.
